    Shield returns to Chch!

This time next week the Ranfurly Shield will be safely tucked away at CRFU Headquarters in Stevens St.

With DC and Ritchie certain starters,as well as Wyatt Crockett,Keiran Read,Brad Thorn and Owen Franks, this looks like being the match of the season!

Jamie Joseph has changed his stance on returning All Blacks saying he will definatley play them next week.

Am picking George Whitelock to still be captain and to be the man holding that shield up at the Caketin in the end.

    CCCAAANNNAAABBBRRREEE!

Can't wait for this game!Canterbury to take it by 6 (2 DC penalties)

Wellington only just beat AUCKLAND, who are playing like a pack of schoolboys (minus the brawling) this year.

I don't think Wellington will stop Canterbury.

    Indeed!

I forgot to include Isaac Ross in there too!7 returning AB's make this Canterbury side almost unbeatable!

Welly only have homeground advantage and I must say the Caketin is a very nice stadium, have been there twice to watch the Mighty Crusaders win twice.

2 of my mates are heading up for this one,I'm too poor this time round.Boohoo!

    GOOOO CANTERBURY!!!

Dunno why but the ANZC has been real exciting this year.

Stuff the shield. Manawatu lost by two points and our last kick at goal missed the bar by two metres!
