So what milage do you have out of them so far?

I've now done a whisker under 8,000km on mine and the rear is only just starting to show signs of squaring off. I've run that pretty consistently at 40psi since new.

Have you had a chance to use them in the wet yet? I'm seriously considering getting some.......in fact unless they're really really expensive compared to the new Road Attack 2's they will be my next tyre.

No wet weather riding has been had on these yet.

I saw a set of the new Conti Road Attack 2s the other day. "Interesting", I thought briefly, until I remembered past suboptimal experiences with Road Attacks and Motions. I'm not a "third-time-lucky" kind of guy.

If Mr Avon has got the new Storm 2s competitively priced, I may try a set on my next change. Otherwise I may do a double innovation: going for a grippier front in addition to a 190/50 rear.

Ohhhh! That's three sets of tyres I want to try now! (I have never tried the Storms but have always wanted to/Storm 2 would be the go though if I went that way)

Hmmm, I guess I ca'nt complain, i've got three really well reviewed tyres I can choose from (Angels, Road Attack 2 and Storm 2) and if I ca'nt decide the good old "guy" method will decide.......(eaney meaney miney cheapest!)

That's a trifle over the top, isn't it?
I hadn't heard about the Storm 2 - it's another option for when the rear storm on the VFR finally decides to wear out....
I've had a new Storm on the front for nearly six months and the rear tread is still legal. I think this is the first time that's happened, although with the last VFR I had the odd front tyre or two develop some AB Normal wear patterns.
