Hey howzit...just joined up wit KB yesterday.... actually found this site randomly through Trademe... well me and my hubby be kinda `new` riders on the road (been dormant)... we bought 2 HDs a month ago... and yea well we got rid of our bikes when we started having kids...then the grankids started...like 20yrs later and finally we are back on BIKES... YEAHHHHHHHHHHH what an awesome feeling again...

Hey cheers for the gr8 welcome in here...thnx KB members, and yeah we cant wait for summer to roll in, and its been over a month and Im feeling alot more comfortable with my own bike,taking corners etc ( admits - to goin down the Takapau plains & H50 to tap out my bike) Hard to get out ridin with the suk weather here in CHB. As for my hubby Mike...well he kinda slipped right in even with a new bike.

You have some great roads in CHB, and Waipawa MC clubrooms is only 5 minutes away from Waipawa down Tamamu Road.

The back windy way (cant remember name sorry) off poranghau Rd to Ormandville is a great ride :-) Was out there last saturday

hey yea...Waipawa MC clubrooms down Tamumu rd, know it well

... have a few good buds there.. one ol soldier there > Chopper.. was a past work mate of mine way back when we were milking cows

.. I know the roads ur talking bout dwn porangahau rd, we travel that way frequently to some shearing sheds we do @ Ormandville...cool

I'm an ex CHB chick, so I'm familiar with the Waipawa MC and know Choppa well - esp when he was in the millking sheds. LOL He's a fantastic chef though

yip thats the same Chopper... a luvly ol guy with a quirky sense of humour, I think the clubz his 2nd home...lol..last I heard he was still the barman there and chef
