You have ridden once with me on a ride out towards Kawhia, and then Harbour Rd towards Waitomo.
I had ridden these roads only 1 or 2 times prior, (i'm not a Wuckatoo local, arrived here in 2005), on a poorly set up bike that afterwards ended up in a ditch due to a muppet claiming to be a race tech suspension expert. (it was repaired by RT after the accident).
I make no excuses towards being cautious on those back roads, (as YOD and Cowboyz found out the reasons later that year. Yod went down hard).
If you wish to jump on a track bike and challenge an ex sidecar racer, then feel free. You set it up and pay for it, as your mouth seems to be willing to write cheques that your budget probably can't cash.
Ride as fast as you like on the public roads dude, your family obviously couldn't care less about the loss. Maybe you think you are a lion, but I have just added you to the Twirp list.

The stupid part of his comment is that Carver got into trouble doing something slowly - something that if wasn't illegal, any B grade trials rider could do...
