    1989 MC19 CBR250 - Awesome learners bike!

    Hi all

The time has come for me to sell the bike, its been with the family for around 10 years i think?

i was given the bike as a 21st present from my mums husband who rode the bike every day for many years and i have done the same.

km’s the speedo is showing 37,000km but not sure thats correct.
It’s had a replacement engine put in but i have no details on that replacement sorry.

Its starts first time every day, just a little bit of choke till its warm. Gets regular oil and filter changes.

In the last 3 years of owning it I have only had to have 1 thing done for a WOF and that’s the steering head bearing so that’s nice and fresh.

12 months ago it got a new chain and both sprockets.

Its up for a WOF shortly so ill be getting that done for the new owner just so they know its 100% cool

The bodywork is not in showroom condition, there are a few cracks but most of them have been plastic welded.

I have the 2 side farrings off at the moment getting a couple of the cracks plastic welded. And as you can see from the photo I have almost a complete spare set of farrings for it.

Both the tyres are around 50% sport demon on the rear and something else on the front.

They still fetch a good price, however I know mine is not in the best condition so im realistic about the price that I think its worth.

    Cheers

    Sam

Keep it at that price mate, I think I'm selling mine for less than it's worth. Don't rip yourself off. I think bikes just aren't selling right now
