    Inglorious Basterds

    Bloody good, as you would expect from Tarantino. Very much like Pulp Fiction in some ways, and features a few familiar voices (but not faces) of actors from Pulp Fiction, but is still very much it's own movie. I would have to say that's most I've enjoyed a movie in a long time.

    I enjoyed District 9 but it left too much open (for the sequel), whereas Inglorious Basterds is finished done and dusted with a few minor things left unanswered but they are not of much importance to the completion of the story line.

    Brad Pitt does a great job, and there are quite a few twist and turns, and also a few good doses of humour thrown in with a typical Tarantino flavour. Sorry Indy but this movie leaves Valkyrie completely blown to pieces, both in story line, execution and overall quality of acting and final production.

    It would have been nice to see Christopher Walken mixed in their somehow but I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too.

    Well worth a watch, infact I think I might go see it again - only another 8 times and then it'll be on par with Pulp Fiction!

    I did think that at one or two points you were held in suspense a little too long. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.

    Tarantino flix are kinda strange the first time round for me.Pulp Fiction was the first of his I saw at the movies.

    Thought it was weird that Vincent was wasted in the toilet then next thing he's alive in another scene!

    It wasn't till my flatmate at the time had an 'illegal' copy (on VHS back then)and used to play it all the time and I had no choice but to keep watching it....stoned...

    We'd have parties and all our mates would say quotes from that movie all the time.I went and brought the dialogue book from that movie and memorised every line!

    Funny how a few bourbons and spliffs makes you forget when it really counts!

    Not sure if I'll see Inglorious Basterds....ahhh fukkit!I gotta MovieMaxx card so $10 tickets ain't all bad!

    You are aware it is a Tarantino movie, surely?

    It's one of his trademarks.

    I did have a chuckle at some of the people in the theatre who had obviously come in expecting a generic Hollywood run-of-the-mill action movie. Those fools.

    Pure gold, this movie was.

    WW2 = Favourite genre & am a WW2 fanatic

    Taranatino = Favourite director

    Am I excited to see this film? Oh HELL yes!!!

    IMBD gives it an 8.7/10, which is a pretty high rating for them
    To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. Just been to see it... it is superb. Some scenes have immense tension and the dialogue is classic. Awesome.

    Haven't seen nor read up on this movie but does it centre on Polish soldiers taking on the Germans?
