From there go across to Tairua and up to Whitianga for a bite to eat. Then proceed over to Coromandel and back down to Kopu where we can split our separate ways again.
We be at Kopu just after 10 am mate. Be nice day for it.

May have to amend the plans somewhat from Whitianga. There has been some flooding and slips.

    Yep indeed

Thanks guys, I really enjoyed today. As for the slips, well....non event really. Coro loop lived up to its usual expectation, beautiful weather and besides a few other bikers enjoying the conditions surprisingly quiet for a weekend (I thought).

No need to apologise, mate; don't worry about it. You were doing fine from my point of view, but good on you for calling it if you didn't feel it was happening for you. See you again another time.

GreyAngel, the words"ride your own ride" are uttered at every SATNR ride , theres a reason for that.
We'd rather someone called time and rode home than they tried to push the envelope and ended up crashing. It's never been about going as fast or as slow as anyone else, simply enjoying the company of a few good men and Women on a pleasant pootle in the country side.
Hope you enjoy the next ride.

Hi guys, just to sidetrack you a little, I have organised a Ulysses weekend at Miranda and thought I'd ask you lot about a suitable ride that would take 1-2hrs at medium pace, from Miranda and ending back there? Never been down there myself, so am looking forward to it and have been told it is a great place to ride around in. Thanks Al.

Yup Amber is fine almost up to 40,000kms now (had done 20,000 when I got her). Can't wait till the weather has warmed up a bit so I can do more proper rides too.
