For the guys out there remember breastfeeding is the natural contraceptive. It's free and it works.

That would have to be the most misinformed load of shyte that I have ever come accross. Of course a woman can get bloody pregnant while breastfeeding!

    a different angle

why is it that people can be offended by woman doing what nature intended?
should you then also be pointing the finger at other animal species ie; cows horses gorillas, they all feed young in fill veiw (amongst other things).....ok so we watch animal documentries should they then also be rated R18?

ok so you think other mamals are different & cant be compared to woman brestfeeding in public...every one is intitaled to their own opinion...nature should be as nature intended.
BUT what gets me is who was it that put their head under a cow & suckled from its udder??? now that is so unnatural & sick....like humans are the only mammal on earth who arnt weaned off milk.....isant society a little screwed up???
asked Mom if I was a gifted child ... she said they certainly wouldn't have paid for me.

Honestly can't see what all the fuss is about....Any law that makes parenting easier is fine by me...we are not forcing women to breast feed in public it just takes away some of the guilt for those who want or need to.

Yes well I guess a baby bottle & a milk bottle do look exactly the same don't they!

Yes there are some conservative regulations but then look down the street and can see a myriad of people that maybe even 10 years ago wouldn'y have been accepted. A lot of stuff that used to be unacceptable is now mainstream - such as tatoos, piercings. Thats more what I was meaning. I mean we allow people to walk down the street with metal in their face for eg but, some people get upset about a woman doing what is an act that is about as natural as you can get ie. feeding a baby.

Not having kids but knowing others who do, I would doubt there are many women out there who "flop their tit out & wave it around" kinda thing.

It actually sounds like you're agreeing with me anyway.

I'm worried that I agree with this... but I do ask - what law?

Who's put it forward and why. It's one thing to winj (sic) about it in here but get in touch with those in power and let them know about it. They're they only ones with the clout to do something about it.

Yup it's free... and as for working... ummm...

I'd look up the stats on that one and compare it to something a little more effective (rubber, "NO", or the snip).

I don't think it really rates...

He thought it was pre-made-up formula, and we had run out of moo milk, I think, so he decided to use it instead.

Green-tinged faces and general hilarity ensued once his error was discovered.

98% effective (which actually DOES rate with the aforementioned options, excepting "NO")

There goes the old "exception proves the rule". Unless you thought that if you were breastfed that you'd be rendered temporarily 'safe'? pt
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

From a purely male hormonal point of view, I say bring on the boobies.

From a more rational point of view I see nothing wrong with breast feeding in public, most of the time you see less cleavage being displayed by a breast feeding mother than by half the dirty slappers around.
