Where as the guy on that video R6kid posted pops it up and holds it there fine. I just don't believe a stock zxr/cbr can do that. Of course, if you want to prove me wrong...
I do the odd wheelie, so I think I can explain why the clip you mention looks like a decent wheelie compared to what you can find of ZXR. The guy is standing on the rear pegs. I've got $100 that says I can wheelie a GN125 100meters easily standing on the back pegs. Sit on the seat and try hoisting a mintah, it'll look very similar.

I've got a GSXR250 in the garage, very inferior to either the CBR or ZXR. Will a clip of me doing a wheelie on that suffice?

Wanders off hoping my point is made, since the GSXR runs like a bag of shit, hence it's in my garage.

I know what you mean, but I've never actually seen a zxr/cbr250 doing a steady mono, so I'm pretty sure you couldn't pull that on one. My reasoning being: You can stand on the pillion pegs all you want, but by the time you gather enough revs to get enough power to pop it up to the balance point, you're pretty much out of room in that gear and it will just drop back down the next time you go slightly below the balance point (within a few secs of wheelying). I don't think you could prove it using any other bike. All have slightly different gearing/weight/weight front vs. rear etc

I'm sure you are just arguing so I'll go try this, but ok. I have a good mate with a CBR two fiddy, I'll see what he's up to this weekend, and aquire said footage if he'll let me. He let me wheelie it once before, so I think it'll be OK.

No I'm not "just arguing", I'm just pretty positive that you can not keep a wheelie going on a zxr or cbr250. I'm not talking rev the piss out of it until it hits the limiter and the front drops, I mean balancing for as long as you like only limited by the time it takes for the engine to seize from no oil circulating, like you would on a 600 (or a new Ninja 250, surprisingly). If you do manage that I'll be impressed!

OK then, I'll find a bike. You really gotta believe me though, almost any bike can be wheelied the way you want to see it. It's a matter of throttle control.

Don't worry about it then. Your theory is right, but I've never seen anyone able to properly wheelie one, and don't think I will

I don't really care too much about it. If you think you can prove me wrong, than do. I'm not offering anything
