bought my first bike 1989 gsxr 250 (not running) condition. Need a replacement magneto flywheel. pics to identify source this part would be helpful. thank you...
Bike spec:
1989 gj73a GSXR 250.
the part number on the flywheel that was pulled from the bike (attached pic) is GP9147 9B.
Upon consulting with a few parts dealers, i have been pointed out that the part is discontinued. They suggested that the gs250 flywheel is similar, it MIGHT work. since there is no refund once bought, i rely on your help to advise me in this regard. The gs250 flywheel rotor has 3 magnets, whereas my broken rotor had 6 magnets. does that make any difference??
