Deer foils bike thief

When a thief stole a motorcycle in Langley, Canada, little did police realise they would be aided by a deer.

The 40 year old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was on a joy ride when he ran into the deer and was thrown into a ditch. Police arriving at the crime scene discovered the bike was stolen and was charged with possession of stolen property. After being treated for broken bones, the man was taken to police cells.

There was better news of the deer "The deer ran off after the collision, seemingly uninjured," said Langley RCMP Cpl. Holly Marks.
