    Cadbury to go Fairtrade

    From Stuff:
    http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/2806...ecision-hailed

Interesting. There's some speculation that this is in response to the hammering they took over "Palm-Oil-Gate"

My thoughts are that this would have to have been in the works far longer than that.

So, anybody who defected to Whittakers when palm oil happened going to go back to Cadbury because of this?

No because I realized in that time Whittakers peanut block is just a really large peanut slab. I love it we went from no chocolate to getting one every week at the supermarket. Marketing got to love it.

So this fairtrade Cadbury - will it still be made in Australia?

Because palm-oil-gate was only part of the problem in some peoples books.

    Fuck em.

I don't give a shit where the ingredient come from, Its the fact they moved production overseas, shrunk the block of chocolate, changed to inferior ingredients and then claimed it was due to customer demand.

What......we demanded a shit product for the same price and more work for the Aussies? Bullshit talking fucking bastards.

Fuck em, fuck em up their fucking arses, HARD.

    Apparently. Tasmania IIRC.

And no word on making the blocks the previous size, or doing away with the cardboard packaging.

Miss Mully had two Aunts staying the last few weeks - we got them hooked on Whittakers... So much so, that they bought a whole lot to take home to England.

We must be doing something very wrong if it is cheaper to manufacture in Australia.

Whittaker's tastes a lot nicer and with the actions of cadbury recently, they can still get fucked - palm oil or not.
