    We all hope not....
Wouldn't be the first high profile racer to suffer a very serious illness during his career though.....

He can ride with a little virus--he managed to get on the podium with his little virus--but can he recover from the virus while he's competing? His doctor told him no, his experience confirmed it, so he took his doctor's advice. Good on him. Dr Badjelly says, always follow your doctor's advice.

Are you trying to say he has HIV/AIDS or something?

where opinion holds more weight than fact.

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Stoner is a pussy. Either admit to whats wrong (?mental illness) or get back on the bike and do the best ya can. Its not like Ducati is doing particulrly well anyway...
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

God forbid your health, whether mental or physical should be more important than competing.
Why would you want to continue racing when you know that by doing so you sabotage your ability to return to full health?
If by taking 3 races off allows him to return to his previous form, then he should!

Also, just because doctors don't know what is wrong with him does not mean it isn't something serious. Funnily enough medicine is full of uncertainty and atypical presentations of common disorders, then there are the crazy disorders that happen to one in a million that don't even cross their minds because they are so rare.

Dont tell me hes fuckin human !!!!

Hell what will the anti Stoner brigade do if that gets out.?

If a guys sick , hes sick . If a guys not sick , a factory isnt going to reserve a ride for him because they like him , its because they rate his ability . He has a performance clause in his contract and they can ditch him if hes just being a blouse. There is alot of money tied up in a Moto GP rider and Ducati will not risk the damage to the brand if Stoner is just never going to do it for them again.

No im not a Stoner or Ducati fan either, Moto GP bores me , SBK is where i devote viewing time.
    Thats my view anyhow.

    Paul.
