Cadbury or Whittakers?

Now if any of you read the paper you may have come across the story of Auckland zoo banning all Cadbury products because they have now started to add Palm oil to their products.
Now the problem with this is that you pretty much have to knock over rain forests in order to grow the stuff, which means poor old orang-utans are getting kicked off their land without any compensation.

Now some of you people may think "Hippy shit", "tree hugging green peace surporters" but also look from a taste and money point of view. I really think the taste of Cadbury chocolate has gone down hill for a while now and they also reduced the weight by 20% but without lowering the price so you're basicly paying more for Cadbury's cost cutting.

On the other hand Whittakers use 100% coco butter and to me their products taste better, plus they haven't gone and changed the packaging size while keeping the same retail.

I laugh at cadbury. Expensive, poor quality AND taste's worse. This has been going on for a considerable time too.

Funny how a zoo tries to take the high ground when they basically imprison wild animals in an unatural habitat for the rest of their miserable lives.

One thing I hated when in Aussie was the taste of their chocolate, and now we are importing the shit?

Me and the missus eat huge amounts of Cadburys. Have done for years. The taste and packaging has recently changed for the worse.

The French call Cadburys 'Vegolate' and not chocolate. I have never tried Whitakers, but I really think I aught to.

Neither... I use sex as a substitute for chocolate. Shame on Cadbury! I read about the use of Palm Oil in a dozen NZ products a few weeks ago and have been boycotting them since. They reckon the use of Palm Oil is costing the lives of 50 Orangutans a week!!!
