And it's not that bad. Most oldies I know aren't too surprised to hear of when me and mates shot each other "at close range" with them. Surprisingly enough none of us were injured. One snuck up behind me and shot me on the arse at close range which stung a bit, but that's it...
I remember bringing a bb gun to school and in the toilets shooting a hole in the soap dispenser. what a dumb kid i was
Thats whats up.

Someone shot our cat with an air gun, probably tried to shoot him in the head but missed and hit the leg.
Cost me 220 dollars at the vet.
An eye for eyes, a tooth for teeth on the one who shot him.
Amazing how in New Zealand BB guns and Shang-eyes you can sell over the counter, In Australia these are illegal, are New Zealand laws lax or are Australians a bunch of dangerous loose units that can't be trusted with these sorts of weapons.
Just remember... "wherever you go, there you are" .....Buckaroo Banzai 1984
Still can't figure out what shop sold those guns as we have a few of those cheap chinese plastic shops in town.

Reminds me how they banned the sale of spray paint to kids to stop the graffiti but instead these idiots use marker pens and scratch shop windows. I can see laser pointers bing banned soon.

air guns can be fun but are a bit of a rip, for $300 you can get a good second hand .22 and a licence and heavy chain dont cost much. $500 is more than you need to get it all and that is less than a good air rifle
mind you once you fire bigger calibers .22's are a bit boring.
i bought a .22 rifle off trade me (Air) and it did 1200 mfps or w.e anyway t was freakin powerful went straight through thickish wood everytime and blew birds to peaces. no i.d no worries haha i was 17 at the time LOL
my 250 doesn't satisfy me anymore, shes just not doing it
i live in a country town so they are ok with .22's
would not want to fire my .270 in the back yard though.
the winchester long z .22 ammo is amazing, it is so quiet it makes less noise than subsonic with a cheap silencer. it is slow as but does the job on magpies etc and much more accurate than an air rifle despite the drop
as i write the misses is going out the back to shoot 2 roosters of ours
With me and the mates air gun fights were up there with using socks as boxing gloves.
A diving mask and bike helmet was the safety gear for close in battles (less than 5 metres).
Yep, I got one.
My neighbours cats love it.
At least I think they do because they keep coming back to sample more pellets up their arses.
