    Question Taupo Track day FOOD

    Hi All :spudwave:
How many people would be happy with Subways food at the track? I have talked to the staff from the Taupo shop but am yet to talk to the manager. But could you please comment here so I know if it is worth setting-up. How's this:
One of their staff comes down to the track mid morning and takes order and money. Comes back at 12.30ish and gives the orders out.
It is good food and a foot long is a great feed. Around $6.00 for a six inch and say $9 for a foot long. I will get the prices when I speak with the manager but I need to know if people would be happy with this food. Plus drinks
Please reply ASAP here so I can sort this out. Thanks

I've asked and a couple of good type KB ers have offered barbys but nooone has put their hand up to do the cooking etc.
Subway sounds like a fantastic idea to me for lunch.
I just realised--DUUUU its gonna be getting dark around 6.30
Maybee we could do subway lunch then a saussie sizzle and beer /oj etc at the end of the day.
either way the track is a bit of a ways from town -(10minutes round trip) so food on site is definitely the way to go.

All sorted people. I have spoken to Frosty and Taupo Subway's. I will post a new message when I have the menus and price list. A rep from Subways will come to the track around 10.30 and take orders. You will have to pay then. They will have a choice of drinks as well. I assume we can make hot drinks at the track. We may have to red flag the track session that is on at that time and give people the option to order or go on riding. That is up to Frosty.
The food will be delivered to the track at 12.30 ish.
So till I have more detail that's lunch for the day. To the people that do not want Subways I apologise but I can not please everyone. If you want to organise somethin else that good.
    Till later.

If someone can bring a barbie, I'm sure it would get used.
I'm keen for a Sub though. (as well)

    *Thinks*
Hang on - Who gets all the stamps?
I volunteer to be the runner for Subway!
    (haha! They will never notice!)

Why do you think I am organising it. Could almost pay for the toll calls or something
Nope hope to get free cookies in their place or we could get them put in the bags.

Would be easy enough to have a checklist printed off for each person for contents of Sub (sure subway wouldn't mind with $500+ of business) and that way they wouldn't come and take orders at 10, they would just come and pick up the checklists and money.

Only problem is if they put ranch dressing in my Sub who do I scream at.... HEADS WILL ROLL!
