Metalor the pain she is suffering now and the pain and despair you will put her in the future, why are you doing this to her. Promise me you will wash her after every ride, change her oil when needed, lube chain every thousand or so ks and check her tyre pressure before every ride. And for the love of God atleast have some decency to ride her properly!!! Leave the Hornet 250 alone!!!! she doesent deserve this you bastard

Learn basic maintenance as motorcycle boots are not comfortable for walking in

Feel for you, I really do. I managed to allow my ginny to roll off the sidestand once when retrieving my mail; no real damage done except for the damned indicator, but I was fuming. Never done it again; bet you won't do it again!
Yea, just one of those moments where you could easily have prevented a mishap but didn't...

Thing is, you'd expect I'd be pretty good at riding down my drive cos I do it every day. Obviously not :P

Dean - Sorry mate! I didn't know you cared so much :P You're welcome to come round and give her a wash if ya like (I'm yet to do that since owning it).

Chain gets looked after pretty well though, I learnt my lesson with that after having a chain come off my Volty after a bit of neglect...

It's not a bad idea. Many experienced riders advise new comers to buy a naked bike first off for this reason.
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded
