Damn. Found out the cause of the constant wrist pain.
Bloody scaphoids haven't healed. Grrr.
Oh well, at least I have a reason for the wrist pain, and problems with a pincer grip, doing up screws etc.
Guess I'll have to talk to the specialist now about options.
Who's had their scaphoids pinned? How quickly can you go back to daily riding large bikes?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Many years ago I broke my left wrist badly. Was operated and got two long spikes put in to keep it together while it healed.
The problem was that the cast went all the way out to my fingers and so I could not pull the clutch. Some fast thinking was needed.
I twisted the clutch so it stood straight up. Now I could by pushing down with my cast engage the clutch on my Bonnie and change the gears. But the cast fell apart after a coupld of days, so I had to go and get a new one. This was no good.
So more modification, this time to the cast: I fitted a alloy L-shaped bar to the side of my cast and I was riding my bike for the 6 months until the final cast came off!
So you wont be missing the motor from the RF then bro?
Geez Drew, I told you what to do. Throw a GSXR1100W bottom end at the sucker.
Heaps more ponies!
Besides, I've been riding like this for two years - may not end up doing anything about it now. I could be stuck with the pain forever.
