Wouldn't the appropriate verb be "push"?

    *has given in to inevitability*

Haha, thanks for the pillioning options but I'll consider only when I'm desperate to go on a bike. Till then I'll wait for 2011 to come.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

winter commuting has left me craving for the return of the wed night cruises. Looking forward to it.

Better start cleaning off all that winter muck off the plastic chrome again.

Where have you been Stanley?? We have had maintenance nights you could have come along to.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

I hope to be along to when not working. Hopefully not as a pillion. Just need to get the exhaust sorted. Oh and sit my learners (must make a note, go and do next week).

I thought my bike was still under the blasted factory warranty i couldnt breath on it without voiding it so I didnt really make an effort to pop by. I should have really, being a bit anti social i guess. Sorry, poor excuse really

    Road conditions

I went for a ride to Diamond Harbour today, purely in the interests of inspecting the roads - yeah right.

City side of Dyers Pass - brilliant, clear, a bikers dream (apart from the traffic and cyclists)
Other side of Dyers Pass - still quite gritty, particularly on the slow corners
Bottom of Dyers through to Wheatsheaf - some patches of grit, but pretty good
Diamond Harbour road - good, very good
Around the bays to Lyttleton - one patch of roadworks? Not really sure what it was, but there was a splippy slide sign a couple of metres before it, so not enough time to slow down and I hit it with reasonable speed and had an exciting 2 wheel drift
    Evans Pass - clear
