I'm sure you have all heard about the biker who was killed on Sunday night on the Coast after the street racing.

I'm sure you all feel the same, when you hear about another biker who is killed it just rips my heart and makes me think - what if it were me??

His name is Matthew Edward Carpinter, 31 years old of Kaiapoi. Not sure if he is on KB or not, i'm sure someone on here will know.

My heart and condolonces go out to his partner Liz and family.

na but seen to other serious accos... dosnt fucking suprise me in the least after seeing what I did from a cagers point of view driving theer and back... compleat dick heads riding (not saying this guy was one, may well have been beyond his control) after seeing the conduct of bikers over the w/e I can see ACC's point.

ok, this guy has lost his life, his family will be in a lot of pain as any of us would be if it were our loved one. So lets not lead his death onto an ACC or bikers bash. There is a time an a place for that. I have started a thread which has the details for Matthews funeral on Thursday. Please read it if you are interested in coming along.

Not going to go myself. I'm a big girls blouse when it comes to doing long rides at night in the early spring.

I am however going up for the protest at Parliment on the 17th, anybody else going?

I'm playing this one by ear, according to the weather forecast it's supposed to be raining about 5-6pm, so might just wait and see if it does rain, but still keen for this!

I have other stuff (work this week) to do on some Wednesdays so will probably only come out on the weeks going to the Wheatsheaf and Duvauchelle.
Needless to say that means I'll be absent this week.

Well I'll be in Amberly at the designated point at 7pm with the rest of the Goona Crew. Gonna take the Katana for a blast tonight. The Raptor is to close to its service, I have to really limit my riding on it between now and Tuesday
