ORLY, possibly she didn't see it at a couple of points I saw his bike in my rear mirror, given the pace I was setting on the way home until I saw a commodore that looked a little sus.
Don't encourage him. Lexy needs that bike for a wee while longer.
Cough cough bullshit cough

Thanks, it's great to introduce some body new to riding. I did however feel a bit old, fat and grey at the time.
I really enjoyed the ride last night, one of the most enjoyable rides I have done in ages. It was really great to see soo many riders out so close the Christmas. Crowe wants to go to Riverton next week for a few days so I might not be around wed but if I am in town I will be be there for the last WNR of 09.
First WNR I've been on and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very scary following some learners over Dyers Pass though. I thought I was going to have a front row seat to a head on several times.
cheers DD

WHEN I AM AN OLD WOMAN I SHALL RIDE PURPLE................AGAIN

Rest assured the last time I saw one of those new riders they were much more confident and smoother, they had the basic idea of the apex, had slowed down a lot in their rush to get everything done and were riding so much smoother.
Ah D one day I am going to check your genetics to see if there is some relationship to bloody Katman in there. Yeap you are right there are so many ways to achieve the end result we all want and that is a live rider, not a bent or broken cager, I have said it before and I will say it again I believe you could offer so much knowledge to new riders, what I show a guy that works for me and what you might show them could be two completely different ways to achieve the end result, one method might suit a rider better than the other but they will never know th options available to them.
It often harder to put into words how we do what we do than it is to just get out and do it.
Now if we could convince some of the Mainland guys or any other such programme to come along it could be a win-win as the new guys might know where to go to get the tuition and the educators might get students.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
