Sorry - wind up - Some of the Hauraki jocks are pretty cool.

It's the 'character' advert voices that make me want to hurl the box.

Sorry Dave, they're not "Disc Jockeys" these days. They're "Radio Personalities"...

Sometimes the only refuge is Concert FM...

And less of Rog's laugh in the morning. The guy laughs hysterically at nothing. Still worth a listen over More FM or ZM tho.

Whilst Hauraki play decent rock music, their playlist at times seems limited.

Unfortunately they still do occasionally play Crowded House (not that, as a huuuge Beatles fan, I object to that per se, but it isn't "classic rock")...I also change the channel whenever anyone plays U2 or fucking Nickleback...

Yeah I don't know why they changed their scope to Classic Rock a few years back anyway. That's just an analogy for Sad Old Man Easy Listening music. As if there aren't enough stations circulating the hits that were thrashed to death & we all got sick of in the 80s TM
2ZM etc were crap then, I hear they survived some how to the present day when their spawn (ZMFM) was on in Subway the day before. What shit.

The original Radio Active & Sometimes Radio 99 (later Pirate) were sort of ok. I just can't listen to those dreadful fuckers in the morning of all radio stations wibbling on in between repeated adverts & repeated songs.

Well it's hard to hear new music, I feel like I'm trapped in the early 2000s. Ok you can scan youtube but you have to know what you are looking for. Winradio has been the only savior for finding music only radio stations.
Don't you look at my accountant.
