I wasn't so interested in the car but rather the last few comments on the auction.

Firstly he replies to a buyers question with a statement of "to be honest im not too concerned what you think because you dont know my circumstances" and then about 20 odd minutes later he can't help himself and tells everyone his circumstances of his big win. Cat out of bag and all that.

Looks like a fair deal to me and if he has won 500k good on him. You'd be surprised how some people can easily blow away half a mil in a few years.

Actually you would be surprised....I owned one for a month and was very surprised at it's performance. (seriously) And I got around 700 kms to a $50 tank.

    A very under-rated vehicle.

A cat glued to some jam toast will hover in quantum indecision

Curiosity was framed; ignorance killed the cat

Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.

I certainly was when I first hopped into one. It went a hell of a lot better than expected.

But biggest surprise would have to go to the BMW 330d.
