The Disturbed

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmI_RkPmftY

Listen - if your broadband can handle it - whilst watching any TT DVD (like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQm37DXSHFw with the sound off) and you'll understand the meaning of life.
It's back..."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."
Saw these guys at WOMAD here in the 'Naki in March. Definitely the stand out performance with this Chemical Brothers cover being mindblowing. Lead is by Medhi Haddah with an electric oud. These guys don't fuck around when it comes to volume and this is best listened to LOUD

    Coheed and Cambria

Coheed and Cambria; "Neverender". Can't find the full version on youtube. But you will get the message...

Here their "Gravemakers and Gunslingers", a more conventional piece with some decent shredding!

And their official "Welcome Home". This is the one that got me in to them. (OK, so embedding is disabled. Just click on the yellow "YouTube" text at top of embedding and you will see the vid)

Been a Jeff Lang fan for many years...First album I had was "Disturbed Folk" then Ravenswood and "Disturbed folk 2"

This Aussie singer / guitarist has a very intense playing style. I saw him live once at the Blues, Brews and BBQ's in Chch a few years back.

Scroll down to the 4th track on the link...Live in the Basement...starts slow and finishes with a bang
