Nice bike. Glad you had fun. That is after all the whole point of these rides.

Twas a pretty good turnout too I thought.
Not sure how many bikes there were but I reckon it was pushing 25 or 30 which is not bad for what was really the first decent get together for the new summer.
Good to catch up with some people we haven't seen for 6 months or more.

Im sure we'll get more 250s as the season goes on. The majority of the remaining 250s from last year have likely moved onto bigger bikes now and the weather hasnt been good enough yet to attract never riden before bikers to take it up.

Our group was a bit faster so we were pretty far ahead anyway.
If there were more learners there i would have happily gone TEC, as i often have and kept an eye on them.

Its pretty easy to look at any situation and pick the shit out of it if your that way inclined.
Rather than moan about it i prefer to be a little more positive and work around anything i might not agree with.
all i am saying is that a learner is likely to be intimidated by talk of wheelies and could be "scared off".That is all

I'm a learner. I'm not scared off at all. I'm real keen to come along soon, the only thing putting me off is the bad weather and my factory chinese tyres on my GN. Oh, and i'm busy trying to get some more damn tags lol.

Hey - I do think BMWSTA has a valid point, no need to jump on him for his comment - as he said - it was his opinion. It is supposed to be the Wednesday cruisy ride, not the Thursday Thrash ride. I know you guys are all keen as to get on you bikes and have some fun, and that was expressed in typical biker way - pop a wheelie or two. And I see that 325rocket is happy to be TEC and keep an eye on the newbie riders so I am sure all will be ok. Anyway - its looks like a great turnout for the first one and I shall pop over the hill for future Wed cruisy rides (weather permitting).

Yeah I know...and I wont be there next week either. Sometimes life gets in the way. But hopefully should be all good for the weeks after that
