I wonder if that was the wee brown and white cotton tail I saw on my right down the side of the road weaving and bobbing everywhere...

Yea I was behind you and saw first hand the rabbit do some pretty good avoidance moves at least for the first 2 bikes, that was until you nailed it. Thanks BuckBuck#1 also for the ride out there. I had heard of this trail (Blue Mountains Road through Whitemans Valley, Mangaroa, Maymorn, and Te Marua) but never ridden it. Caught up with a few riders on the hill and the rest of the bunch at that pub

Ha, I remember that little fella.

I only had a couple of seconds to avoid it once it survived bucks mighty green machine. Luckily for me I veered left while it darted right.

Did wonder if it made the gauntlet but forgot to ask when we parked up. Guess not...

Yep it was fairly breezy on the hill, we didnt stop at the top, just made a beeline for the pub. It wasnt too bad in Feathers.

You're welcome Darryn. That ride is a good diversion from SH2 on the way to the Wairarapa, or on the way back. Going down Blue Mountains Road is quite a challenge too.

The dvd is currently with Gordie, I lent it to him last ride to Paekakariki. I will hand it on to anyone that may want to have a look at it. It is from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau and presented by Wayne Gardener.
