If anyone had climbed around the outside of the radio antennas when they were on they now have cancer.

If anyone piloted a helicopter close enough to the tower to mount a cone they've probably been fined and/or had their licence suspended

Nah mate, if they have clearance to approach then it's not a problem... and according to that article Sky City/Sky Tower agreed to the placement of the cone.

I'm just wondering how the hell you get it up their inconspicuously.!

Well you have to have some way to get up there for maintenance reasons, right? I reckon the Sky Tower peeps scheduled this at the same time as said maintenance (probably in the early hours)

Sorry Danae, the only time their allowed maintenance on them is like from 3am to 3:04 am.

    Literally

Theres a window of less than 5 minutes for any maintenance they have to do, other than that they can only shut off half the antennaes to get up there.

So I doubt that they climbed up to put it there

So it had something to do with V...this video is a fake but pretty lulzy anyway. I think V worked with the skytower to get it up there.

And here's their site where they've coned a whole lot of random shit, like islands.

Dunno 'bout it being fake - it's now a V ad on TV. Plus whehn I said , "Aw,, that's oviously a fake - they used a crane or summat!", my Mutant Spawn were quite adamant it was real - they saw the guy with the jet pack playing around on it in Victoria Park or somewhere in town.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Ya, the jet pack is real, I reckon they did the opening shots etc wherever they were in the ad, then faked the actual putting the cone on the sky tower bit. There's no way he could get up there in the space of ten seconds.

Great ad tho, wish I saw the cone irl XD
