Defensive driving course

I had the same problem. If you have done your defensive driving course within 5 years then you can still use it for your bike licence. Unfortunately it was 7 years since I had done mine so I had to redo it.

Yes and no ... I think one of the requirements for the defensive is that you have to sit it after you've had your bike restricted for 6 months. I did my car one a few years back now.

I went for my 6R a few months back and when i passed the tester told me if i've done the defensive driving course for my car licence i can buy a harley davidson in 12 months time. I was like sweet

So in the end did you reuse yours from the car? - I really dont want to do another course and waste 12 or so hours
