HD XL1200S Sportster Sport

2002 model.

Imported from The USA in 2006 with 19,000 miles on the old clock. I've added 13,750 miles to that.

This is the not so common "sport" model with the twin discs, twin plug Thunderstorm heads (like the early Buells), rear piggy back shocks, suspension fully adjustable front and rear for preload, compression and rebound.

Goes well, dyno jetted, Rinehart "Racing" pipes, low bars.

New rear rubber, new buyer will find new reg and WOF on it.

A bargain.

CB's 1200s has about 45,000km on it and only just in the last week has it shown signs of its age - fork seal on the left is 'oozing', this is the first time anything much has need done to it in its life so they are good reliable bikes that for a Harley handle quite well, go well and are not hard on gas.

I know the feeling.

Only ours never sold at all, CB (normajeane) decided she wanted it after it hadn't sold for just on a year.

Funny how some bikes sell in a snap while other almost identical (perfectly good) bikes just don't sell.
