Anyone planning on going to a world cup final?

"Ticket prices won't formally be announced until November but are expected to be similar to those at the 2007 cup in France.

Average prices then were around $350 for the quarter-finals, $600 for the semis and $800 for the final."

    taken from, http://www.nzherald.co.nz/rugby-worl...ectid=10595340.

    WTF?

Been to a few live games over the years, I prefer my home theatre and giant screen.

So, No,not me. Ill be kicking back on the lazy boy with a beer in my hand. I can see this world cup being a massive fizzer.

It's going to be a odd look having all the Corporate Boxes packed and the terraces empty.

You could buy a nice helmet for that.
    Or a Quasi Jacket.
    Or an aftermarket muffler.
    Or new tyres.
    Or a scooter.
Or 60 litres of quality oil.
Or 300 hand-jobs (thinking of the ugly or genitally deformed members here)

    Uh OK,

It would be a good atmosphere to watch the final live,
    but not at those prices.

There will always be people who think $300 worth of "being there" is worth more than actually seeing the game....

Have to agree, I will enjoy watching it, most likely delayed with my $15 dozen. As opposed to live with a $60 per dozen plastic bottle watered down beer.

Perhaps they can use the profits to pay for the new stadium?
