How to go faster: Driving Aids. Yay or Nay?

Is it possible to get a quicker time around a track without driving aids?

Is taking driving aids off "just for looks and showing off" or are you more in control (literally) without them on. I'm talking ABS, TCS, ect.

What helps a good driver's time and what doesn't?

Makes stoppies and rolling burnouts easier for one.

Dunno about bikes as I'm not sure anyone's actually done a test like that, but every test I've seen in car mags etc., like that a good driver with all the electronic nannies turned off has always done faster lap times.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

Absolutely! That's why they use them in F1 and MotoGP - to make them go slower
