Hi wondering what the differences are between the two. Also any thing beter in this price range ??

there is not a huge difference between the 2, the v2 has a bit nicer liner, both are still ABS construction (plastic)

there are heaps of helmets in this price range, it is best to try on a few and see what fits you best
