Anyone have a sky decoder for sale?

I have a satellite dish at the beach and want to get a SKY decoder to install so that I don't have to keep transferring my Home unit to and fro.

Trade Me won't accept adverts for them as they are owned by SKY.

If any one with a Decoder is off to Oz on the big OE and has a a decoder they want cash for then I'm your man!

sky will happily now give you one for multiroom, knowing it is going to the beach. when i had mysky put in the guy told me, as they were getting too many damaged ones from being hot-swapped all the time. they now accept the multi-room may be in different houses.

Way back in the early 1990-92 Sky gave you the option of purchasing the old type box outright, thus cheaper subscription, and no bloody adds them days.

Anyone fleeing to oz and want to sell me their sky sat decoder?

I want a satellite decoder for my beach place to save lugging the home unit to and fro.

Can't get one off TradeMe as Sky owns the boxes and you have to give them back when you cancel your sub so TM wont take adverts apparently

If you are fleeing the country and could do with some more $$$ then I could be interested in a working Sky Satellite decoder. I have a card so I'm not looking to get free access to SKY.

Just remember Sky will be waiting to pounce if you come back tho

Isn't it like $15 a month for a second decoder?

I guess that does add up though...

Why not get a prime only satellite install at the beach for 150 bucks, and then you get the decoder for that one off cost (but sky still owns it)
