This gonna be great, especially for us on the older machines.

I dealt with Pat a few years ago, and that man can shift product like theres no tomorrow (which for a lot of resellers there isn't)

I'm looking forward to a 'decent' Apple reseller*, and if anyone can do it it'll be PB.
I'm hoping that when they get more experience with Apple they'll learn about the PC products that are cross-platform, since they already supply Kingston RAM and the like, we can tap into their range which are already decent prices.

I'm too shallow.

I've noticed a lot of PC joints are picking up reseller licences. Sign of the times? Kinda hope not. I do like keeping things on the down low although better support sometimes wouldn't go a miss.

All the Apple sellers around here are kinda crap.

And with regard to PB, I've always found their prices higher than a lot of others. Their Hamilton store was pretty average (haven't been in the new one).

I can't imagine better prices coming with this since they're tightly controlled by Apple themselves. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

Oh almost forgot...Fuck PC's

I noticed this, too. WHen I had a job and was in the market for a bit more storage and GPU power, they were about $30 more for the same HDD's elsewhere, and almost $100 more for the 4870x2.

MACS=SCAM, regardless of OS, all computers are PC's. Fucking Mac != Different kind of computer.

use both all the time, looked into going totally open source recently but got scared so i continue to put up with microsoft bullshit and apple bullshit.

ho-hum, at least the price of apple should come down

Ther's no soldered RAM on Mac's. You must be basing your ideas on old stuff. If I was like you I'd be complaining that the PC OS is crap - cos the last one I used was Windows ME.

Every computer is built for a job. Mac's do theirs well; and so do PCs. Stop the bloody "you OS sucks" every time someone asks a question or links to some info. You just look like a dork - often an out of touch one. This is aimed at BOTH Mac and Windows dorks.
