Yeah,But as I stated earlier.If wets are banned the rule should read,Dot/European approved tyres "ONLY".I spoke too a Vic club official tonight and they are not sure.He will have it clarified by Mel and AJ and make it public asap

150cc: As per the MNZ Streetstock 150 regulations. 2-stroke and 4 stroke commuter type bikes, No modifications are allowed except for: Removal of glass and indicators, removal of plastic fairings is allowed, replica fibreglass fairings are also allowed. Soft compound DOT road tyres

Yeah, it's going to be my first race/race meeting ever. Last time I was at Manfield, I think Ferd Merkel was WSB Champ and I had a full head of hair!

VMCC streetstock rules.Hand cut dot tyre are permissable in wet but no slicks or race wets.


Tyres
Only tyre sizes that are suitable for the rim size of that model bike, according to the tyre manufacturers specifications, are permissible. Race style DOT road legal tyres are permissible.
If in the event of a “WET RACE” an alternative DOT tyre (refer to the preceding regulation) can be used with different tread. E.g. Bridgestone BT45 to suit the conditions.
Hand cut DOT size race tyres will be allowed. E.g. Dunlop GPR-a10 in the event of a “WET RACE”.
Non-DOT approved tyres will not be allowed. E.g. Race Slicks and Race Wets.

Were not worried about the 'weird" vic club supplementary rules regarding streetstock tyres as we run Dot approved treads anyway.
However as i read the MNZ rules it does state that wet tyres maybe used however as you cant get wets in the sizes allowed (im still trying to find) it sort of cancels itself out.
