    Like uhh the motor?

    J/k

loose fairing bolts at resonant frequency? my rg150's screen rattles like a bitch at 7000 and again at 11000...

Oh and i had a similar thing, And i know it drives you nuts! lol my one turned out to be nuts. Or one at least, off the bar end that had then rattled around like crazy in the handle bars. Only at certain revs though.

Good luck with the mystery rattle from hell!!!!

I believe I may have solved, or at least significantly reduced the problem.

I made a post about it on KORider (good forums for all you whoflung owners out there) and a dude wrote back saying he had the same thing and he stuck adhesive foam between the dashboard and the windshield, also between the bottom of the dashboard and the part of the frame it connects to.

So I pootled off to Mitre 10 on my lunch hour, bought some and gave it a try. The rattle has not completely gone - there is still a very faint buzz - but compared to what it was, it has substantially improved!

I had the same problem, asked around a few mates and did the same thing with the foam but still was there so I just tightened the bolts of the windscreen and it disapeared!

Then is happened again but it was just a washer I had dropped in the fairings

most obvious reason to check would be to see if the muffler is loose.

Give the header pipes a push where they enter the muffler/slip on. If it is loose it will rattle at certain rev ranges.

Happens with my bike, nothing serious it just rattles.
