Bottom end filled the cylinder with steel and then compressed it in to the head while the piston took a smack for good measure. Bent rob and fuck crank. But it was still a good day. Racing is over for us now but it was good to finish with a win in the street stock class for the winter series. We will come along from time to time to cheers you on at the track. Nice to hear you are out and about G. Best I quit now cos it isn’t on topic.. what ever that is……….. FFS
Your in rant and rave so there are no topics lol, Buggar you broke the engine, sounds like a big blow up, Into the spares collection aye steve. Im hanging out to get to the track , only 2 weeks to go. Just ordered my new tyres today and need some new boots too. The classes in the Post classic GP should be great fun . pre 72 snr and jnr , pre82 snr and jnr ,and pre 89 snr and jnr . all with separate races for senior and junior. It will be good to race with only pre 82 jnr bikes, so we all start running out of brakes , overheat the tyres and shocks all about the same time. There is a bears and protwin class too I think. I think its time I resurect my pre 72 bike as there are 2 new ones about to get to the track shortly. It just a scary old thing to ride (in a fun way)

This couple haven't gone anywhere. Just very busy with the fight to save your (and my) hard-earned.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Me to G. I new this was going to happen when the big stick came out. K/B was a great place for a few years but it has fallen apart now the big stick is out. I miss the company and time we spent talking shit. As we are no longer racing we are likely to loose contact with most of the old K/B group. I learnt a long time ago that some things that are working should just be left alone to work. The thing that pissed me off the most was the reason the thread was killed. People from out of H/B couldn’t find out what rides were on by reading the thread. Well try finding the fucken rides now you stupid people……………… Arrrrr I am still mad………. Nice to see you online G. Sorry about the langue but it is the only way I can express how I feel about what happened. If it wasn’t for the protest ride on the 17th I would have del my link to K/B. Why would I be on here if it wasn’t to catch up with you and some of the others. I don’t even see them on here now. FFS…………………………………. Off topic …. Fuck yes ……….

Yea that’s going to work. The very reason I didn’t join Ulysses. Such a big group but they are like old toothless lions sitting in the shade and taking it. Maybe they can all afford to pay so don’t really give a rats arss. Everyone to their own aye.

If they wanted to know if there was a ride on, then why did they not put in a post? We all would've answered that one - as we welcome new people all the time

It was the big shit fight that brought it all to the mods attention though.
If people had just behaved, we would probably have been left alone.

Its a national thing, Steve. They are doing this all over the country on that day. Here it is a PR exercise designed to educate the general public and get them on our side.
They are working with BRONZ on this issue and my understanding from having talked to the local president is their members are very upset.
Just putting it out there...nobody has to go if they don't want to.

It’s great that they are doin somthin. That’s not what I meant. We participated in the WRB protests and made no noise, and they just walked away. I know you are not a militant person and many others don’t want to fight for this in public but remember what Clark said. “ I like silent protest because I don’t have to listen to them “ I am coming across negatively, it would appear. I congratulate all the people working on this but I see us going down the same old road as the WRB protest. We really do need hundreds of people to make a stand and make people ask “ what the hell was that all about? “ We don’t need the public on our side. Most of them hate bikes anyway. We need for them to understand what has happened and why we are doing what we are doing.

Anyway the time might come that we will have to make a stand. When the first $1K bills come in people will have to look very hard at what they do. However divided we will fall and all the rego comes in at different time for all bike owners. So we can’t all stand up on the day of rego and say “NO”. The first people will have to suck it up and we will all follow unless we protest very long and hard. Big time hard. Lets get this protest done and reassess what we do after that.

Absolutely Steve! This is not a campaign that will be won with one batttle...hence, local protests, meetings with MP's, letters to the editor, submissions to parliament etc etc...this is just Stage One...and regional co ordinators are well aware of that.
As you say, now is not the time to be divided. Hard to unite a bunch of motorcyclists...we are all individuals, with different viewpoints etc..but this thing has us all crying out.
It doesn't matter if Ulyssess are doing something different as long as things are being done all the time and this stays in the public eye. Look what happened with the ACC sexual abuse thing...the Govt backed down.
We do need the public on our side if we are to be successful, IMO. That is why we have decided to go with the "who's next?" logo...that gets support from toyota corolla driving Joe and Jane Public...believe me!

I for one will have to dispose of my bike if these levies come in...we just plain can't afford it.
BTW...I am actually quite militant, I just choose my battles... just ask my man!
