2008 HAYABUSA catalyic converter?

Im grafting a Busa into my latest build a Chopped Legnthened Widened Mini Pick UP. Im not up to speed on modern bikes and don't know what the effect will be if I dump the Catalyic converter? There's a sensor going into it and I duno if it wil mess up the lectrics if I remove it, also there's a gizmo on the rocker cover that has wires too it , I want to remove it as its in the way but duno what he hell it dooooos??? if i replace the air box with 4 K+N filters there's another sensor to be axed??? Any technos clued on these whizbang engines?

there is a plug that the ecu uses for o2 sensor in the exhaust, you need a plug for that, if you don't plan on using it

We got a plug when we got the pc3 or full yoshi system for father in laws 08 busa

you mean a plug that goes on the end of the sensor when I disconect it from the Cat Converter?

If you hook it up to a TuneBoy (or whatever the Suzi equivelent is called), it will allow you to chop and change devices, including the CAT.

You will need to stick something on the Cat sensor (or dissable it on the software) however provided the ECU will support what you are looking to do, you will be fine.

No problem there.

Confirm on the busa sites, but should be no harder than fitting a full system... probably just a sensor to check it's up to heat.

Probably an air recirc valve, known as a PAIR. A single resistor wired in is generally all a Suzuki needs to remove that.

Inlet air temperature sensor probably... you'll want that one! Just leave it plugged in, and hang it near the filters... it'll fault code without it.

If there is room & there appears to be, get hold of an airbox. Modern airboxes are really not restrictive & are usually beneficial for midrange

The wire going to the cam cover may well be a camshaft position sensor. (CPS) as it is sometimes referred to.

If it is, you will certainly need to retain it.
