I've been having a battery drain problem since I brought the bike a few weeks ago and have decided to do something about it.
I have traced the problem to the igniton switch.
Upon desambling it I have found a resisitor of 100 Ohms from pin 2 to pin 1.
This puts the load directally onto the battery, Changing the ignition will not change how it is loaded.
I have a feeling it was repaired wrong and the resistor should be a diode to prevent back EMF, is anyone able to tell me if this is so, and what diode will I need ?
