    Ditto. :disapint:

Next time someone feels like posting a link to pictures of this nature, could you please provide a warning about the content?

For instance, in this case I would have typed:

Be Warned: Graphic photos of bodies at a FATAL motorcycle accident!!

Ditto for images that would be unsuitable for those of us connecting at w*rk to view.

I'd say in that situation you'd likely die in a car anyway. that bumper looks about windshield height to me.

Sounds more like "ban those 4wd!"

This is my second fatal-crash picture..........the first one the person was cut literally into 4 pieces with blood everywhere.

Crap.......it's not good man! McD meals are too expensive nowadays to throw out again......

The pictures are horrible alright. They are the second most horrible ones, or one actually that I have seen. I wouldn't want to even begin to descibe it. And I wouldn't direct anyone to where I found it. I couldn't get it out of my mind for weeks.
But, they are also sad. Some poor beggars have lost someone and the affect of the accident (as with all accidents) will ripple out to their communities. Take care everybody, err on the side of caution, and "DRIVE TO SURVIVE".

that's pretty much what most bad crashes look like.....at a closing speed of 200kph it's always gonna hurt - even in a car.

At least it was quick. A good mate of mine took 10 minutes to die after a cage crash.

I first heard about rotten.com when my sons told me about it. Of course curiosity got the better of me. Take my advice: DON'T GO THERE.
I still can't get some of those pictures out of my mind. Perhaps the ones showing the results of motorbike accidents might make you ride more carefully, but there's a lot of other stuff there that you'd be better off not looking at.

Yeah Rotten.com is bad news for those of tender sensibilities like me.....The first time I hit a link there, on jetstream with a flash media slideshow of, probably the one Marmoot saw - rider vs semi in the wet! I couldnt find the sodding off button fast enough - too much..I saw too much!

I think its enough to know it can happen, without the graphic images

actually.. that looks like a very american truck with a very american Highway patrol officer taking notes. So I would guess that the truck was supposed to be on that side.

It looks south of the border to me. Seems the guy came around the corner at speed and took it too wide, crossed over the centreline into opposing traffic.

That is some nasty shit that is

At least it would've been a quick end I guess - anyone seen that email that went around of a girl who'd been stuck in a cage after an accident while it was on fire? Had before and after photos. Rather be dead than left like she was.

At 200k it doesn't matter whether you are driving or riding. You are screwed if you stop suddenly either way.

Unless you are super lucky like that guy on the "America's scariest police videos". He stole a late model corvett and shot past the cops at speeds well above 200 kmph. When he was swerving from lane to lane to avoid some trucks, he lost the tail at about 200 kmph and he spun the car right off the road.

Get this, he wasn't wearing the seat belt or anything, and when the car started spining he was launched out of it. The car ended up in some rocks I think and the driver actually got up with minor scratches.

Imagine that, what a rush it must have been...with NO SEATBELTS, shit thats scarry/stupid!!
