MY Vote for the 300 Celebration

One VERY seriously thought out 300 celebration-

Saturday 26th _ despite the TAG number up_ I say we meet at TAG #1 - the tag to rule all tags

We have a bullshit session and photo's for the record
KGB has Softball season hope he makes it

All who can/will/want to then take a headcount and head for Fielding to meet up with the SketchY clan who are racing that day at Manfield and have been core players all along (unfair they miss this one)

TAG 300 is officially taken at MANFIELD in the Pits- and can never be repeated till at least 500 or 1000 as the next milestone-

We could keep the game smoothly running mid week by agreeing to this here and now and jump 299-301 with a footnote relating the official 300 to the 299 taker and group tagging it on the Saturday as described

Be great day out for the TaggerS in general and we can yell ourselves hoarse for Geln's boy
    Just ride.

I heartily endorse this post . regrettably won't be able to make Saturday as family comittments but will be with you all in spirit.
Also agree with posting 299 then 301 this week and leaving the OFFICIAL Tag 300 til sunday in Manfield Pits.

Might i suggest a sunday ride to manfeild as i'm sure you will enjoy the weather far more than saturday !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

the game goes regardless....i reckon the "celebration tags" remain a seperate entity....tags 299 and 300 are reserved for the celebration,so the game jumps from 298 to 301.My vote would be for teh sunday but whatever....I might even marshall agin which would take me out tof the celebrations anyway.....

Im not fussed an what day-
Long as the SketchY team get in the photo-
Be a crime to make 300 without the Hog Rider - or without YOU either mr BeemA your hard work is what gels this together so smoothly and we know it!
If your marshalling we can schedule the photo shoot for lunchbreak maybe?

Hope Hawkeye comes too he has been a huge part of the TAG game (I am sure he will come round)

Good to know 299-300 reserved- excellent

    Seems Manfields universally acceptable???

Those unable to travel to Manfield could:

Meet at TAG #1 for the 299 shot or
Meet on way to MF (at Pram maybe) to catch one for ScouT (on call poor sod) and BaldY (on OUTLAW parole poor sod) as well as any other coastie that cant make the journey

Basically make 3 official photo locations for the massive 300 day out

Petone- Pram and the Pits at MF suit everyone?

Anyone have a better idea to share?
All that need be arranged now is- Sat or Sun and kick off time at Petone
    Just ride.

i'm keen on option 1 - meet for a team pic at the very first tag, then ride as a group to tag 300...
    1. Meet at tag 1 for large group pic then ride to tag 300 and repeat
Then adjourn to mutually convenient venue for refreshments and the
    usual bs...
i'm not too keen on riding all teh way up to manfeild on the GN... i have done it before and it is no fun... plus with wife at 37weeks pregnant i cant really go out of the welly area. paraparam or Martinborough are ok distances though... as long as im within an hours or 2 ride from Hutt hospital.

otherwise count me out of the celebration team pic.

    Hi StoneY,

I've been contemplating having a ride up to Mansfield sometime to watch the racing for a while. (only been there a couple of times and that was for track day's).
Next week-end seems as good a time as any. The company on the ride would be welcome. It also depends on if I get the Gixxer back together in time.
But I am only interested in the ride. The first person to give me ANY crap for MY decision to drop out of the game and I'm out of there.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

We came, We listened, And in one voice we answered
    BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!! BULLSHIT!!

Hey Hawkeye - if this goes ahead, we will all behave and be graceful and grateful to each other. None of us is going to give anyone any stick about anything said previously. Lets all just draw a line in the sand and move forward from here. We have allowed this to become a bit heated and controversal and its not what any of us is about. I for one look forward to riding the road with you and having a beer or coffee at the end of the ride sometime, somewhere
