TAG-O-RAMA 300th Tag

OK - there are some key players who are unable to do this weekend and I wonder if we should look at the idea of postponing to the following weekend. Everyone gets a bit more warning, can rearrange their schedules, get their babies born etc. I could just be a lone voice making this call but I really would love to have the whole team together if at all possible. I know that if we did postpone, Sketchy racer is still going to have a great turn out from the team regardless. I am happy for anyone to shoot me down and say bad idea, just my 2c worth. I will go to Manfield regardless (unless weather is crap), but i dont ride fast and I wont ride with the team. You guys scare me.....

my old beamer doesnt like going too fast...I actually prefer a (indoor )celebration somewhere closer to out taggin area too

I've been contemplating having a ride up to Mansfield sometime to watch the racing for a while. (only been there a couple of times and that was for track day's).
Next week-end seems as good a time as any. The company on the ride would be welcome. It also depends on if I get the Gixxer back together in time.
But I am only interested in the ride. The first person to give me ANY crap for MY decision to drop out of the game and I'm out of there.

i'm keen on option 1 - meet for a team pic at the very first tag, then ride as a group to tag 300...

as long as im within an hours or 2 ride from Hutt hospital.
otherwise count me out of the celebration team pic.

Thats one of the reasons we count 3 spots on the course so all can find at least ONE photo to squeeze in on

I think multi stop circuit from Petone - Pram then MF would make for a good day and sure we can find some curlies if we head to Fielding via Shannon and Palmy?
Maybe even run home accross the track and through the 'Rapa (and look for StoneYs other lost phone on the way LOL)

I,m happy for all to come to manfeild and we will get a KB pic there but it dosn't have to be the official pic everyone is after. Keep the official pic local so as many taggers we can get there the better i say. the game goes regardless....i reckon the "celebration tags" remain a seperate entity....tags 299 and 300 are reserved for the celebration,so the game jumps from 298 to 301.My vote would be for teh sunday but whatever....I might even marshall agin which would take me out tof the celebrations anyway.....

since most of you are going to manfeild was thinking we could do tag #1 then ride over the hill to Martinborough and get tag 300 in front of the park with all the bikes lined up with us standing behind them. (cant get over there to take the pic so thought be best just to say where.)

then the rest of you going to manfeild have a nice ride the back way.

what you guys think. will everyone be able to make it or should we do it another weekend..

**also the closer to to the 14th of October the lest chance i'll have of getting out, just incase Mrs Drogen goes into labour...

The racing (SketchY Racer pwns) is on Sunday-

I agree with making the celebration TAGs at Petone and MartinB then for those keen on the long run up to manfield via Pahiatua Track we can convoy up to support Glen

I have to have Missus StoneY home before 4pm on Sunday tho so, maybe we do the celebration TAGs on Saturday (if suits you all?) and make a seperate ride for the race track visit on Sunday?
