Hey, this is in christchurch yeah? Wouldnt mind coming along for a blat. My b/day on the 1st so would be a special ride unless im busy at Ruapuna. would be good to see more of the area as ive only been living here for 3 weeks.

There are a few of our riding bud's who's bikes aren't on the road yet or even just don't have bikes, some who can't ride Sunday's cause of family. Figured it might be an idea for those of us who can ride to head up through the gorges for the day and have a stop at Methven for lunch. Returning to my place to meet up with any others who want to for a BBQ.

BYO sausages steak etc. For that reason meeting at my place so the meat etc can be popped into the fridge seems to be the best option.

Leaving 8 Cherry place at 10.30
Route is via Ashley gorge etc to Methven returning via the Rakaia gorge and old west coast road route back to my place.
    All welcome!!!
Hi ya! I have just bought my first bigger bike - Suzuki 1200 Bandit so I'll be keen! See you there! Jon. glanvillejon@gmail.com is my email incase of any changes.

    Race Day!!

Standard race day at Ruapuna so phoenix and liv and timg and dangerous and Hot and Marylou and all them racer types will be there for that.
Someone might be able to fill you in more than me. some are coming back here afterwards for the BBQ.
I'm imagining we will be back by 4.30 and if the weather turns to custard BBQ is still on regardless. I'm hoping to organise cover from the elements but the house is big enough anyway

I'm sure most of us could shelter under your ... ummm ... "verandah"

I'm still coming, unless the weather's shit, then I'll just come to the BBQ. But fingers crossed for good weather as I'm looking forward to getting back into it. I'm getting the bike WoF'd and Rego'd tomorrow morning and then going for a wee cruise to Akaroa to get back into rythm of things as it were.

There's probably no need to bring any sausages, I've managed to score a fair number of them and a little bacon (all are made from chicken though).
