    Grandma/Grandpa ride Sunday 27 Sept

    Hi folks.
As suggested by the title this will be a somewhat cruisy ride down HW 50, across to Patangata Pub, up Middle Road and ending up somewhere for a coffee.
A relaxed pace and a designated TEC means that this ride will be suitable for learners and those who aren't so confident, as well as those who like a slower paced ride.
While I don't doubt that there will be the odd fang, if you want an entire ride at a fast pace, this one is definitely NOT for you!
We will be meeting at BP Taradale Rd, Napier for a 12.30 departure time.

Daylight Savsing starts tomorrow so don't forget to put your clock forward!!

I think you were there to drag the 'Gathering' riders through the Bay. It's alright though, us Nannys and Koros are running short on time and can't afford to hang around. The Mad Cow disease can be a problem too where we forget what the limit is .....and where we're going.

Well, couldn't have picked a better day!
Sunshine, blue skies and warm weather! Just perfect!

The grandmas and grandpas met at the appointed place and time and we set off. Keeping the group together was nigh on impossible, it would have been easier to herd feral cats!

XR Johnny didn't join us as he is nursing hurt feelings ! Something about having a girls bike. But seven happy cardigan wearers tootled off down HW 50, and across to Patangata where we enjoyed ginger beer in the shade of the trees, before heading up Middle Rd and back to ours for a coffee.

A lovely relaxed ride, lots of laughs, perfect weather, great company....we must do it again!
