RIP Patrick Swayze that is, not the chick.

Wonder if he will come back as a ghost on a red dawn? It's all a bit darko without him ... though it's an outsider's chance that he'll be having the time of his life up there wherever he is ...

Sod Swayze. I've just found out that Keith Floyd has died...more worryingly he passed on the day after I posted his photo in BD's "Favourite Floyd" thread...perhaps I should post a photo of Helen Clark... so here he is again. I'm going to open a bottle of red and have a quick slurp in his memory.

    Patrick Swayze

I hope he had the time of his life
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

The first bloke that taught me, dancing is masculine, and sexy! (Apart from John Travolta!)

    What a man!

It really looked for awhile he was going to make it through!

Got a bit of weight back on, bit more colour....

Damnit... How bout that gorgeous song he sung for the Dirty Dancing movie.
I heard it played yesterday, and thought of his wife, of 34 years, an achievment in Hollywood no doubt.

Achievement is not always success while reputed failure often is. It is honest endeavor, persistent effort to do the best possible under any and all circumstances.
