Date change for PMCC Summer Series

You might have trouble believing this but it's true.

Because of a change of dates in the calender for next years V8 Supercars Australia, we have had the dates changed for Round 3 of the Bike Rider Magazine Summer Series.

I am told that the Clipsal 500 has been changed to the weekend of 13/14th March 2010.
This was the same weekend that the NZ V8's were supposed to be racing at Taupo, and the weekend before Our Round 3.
The problem is, TV3 is contracted to show, live, both the NZ V8's and the Aussie Supercars.
TV 3 said this won't work!!
Motorsport NZ (you know, the tin top people with twice as many wheels as a skilled person needs) then said in a round about way, to Taupo "either you move the cars to the following weekend (ours) or we pack up our toys and go to Hampton Downs".

I have told Mr Pedersen from Taupo that Bikes are much important and fun anyway. But he didn't agree.

So now I have the job of changing all of everything

So the new dates and an upgraded entry form is available now on our web site

those v8 supercar's look stupid and are soooooo boring to watch

dont realy care about the date change, dont effect me i havnt planned anything that weekend.

we dont want those 4 wheeled gumby's on hampton downs anyway......it needs to be preserved for things with better power-to-weight-ratio's than a donkey.

Not too sure that is accurate cuzzie lofa. As far as I'm aware the AMCC club rounds are all at Pukekohe this season. Could be wrong though.... I usually am.

Sorry Nigel, like Sharky says, Im not sure if these dates are confirmed or anything, might pay to get in touch with AMCC, or maybe someone can enlighten us on confirmed dates?

Hopefully they dont fall on the same day, because Im hoping to do the full NZPCRA championship, and the entire summer series

The dates on the NZPCRA site have been adjusted as there have been some changes (and some errors?).
Unfortunately the 14 of March is Round 4 of the NZPCRA series at Hampton Downs, run by NZPCRA (not AMCC).
As it is a NZPCRA meeting it will have points awarded for both of the races.

It is a real shame that these meetings clash.
