    Tyres questions

since you guys are talking about tires.....
could someone suggest some rear tires for my ex250. i ride to school and work everyday (even when its pissing down with rain!!) but like to ride through the twisties in the weekend im looking for a semi long lasting tire that has some grip... my stock dunlops are just getting cut to shreds by the road!!!!
I asked God for a bike, but I know God doesn't work that way. So I stole a bike and asked for forgiveness.

ok.. both will fit onto the bike

being a rear they wont make too much difference but the 130/90 will raise the rear about 6mm an the 130/70 will drop it about 6mm

if you want to be all technical about it the 70 might slow down the steering a little bit will be more stable. The 90 will speed it up but be more agressive.
Back in the real world. You wont notice jack shit difference. Go for the cheaper one.

front tyre has much more impact on handling.. thats 10mm difference in the front which is quite alot.. will make the bike fall in faster.

Not nessaccearyly a bad thing. Try and see.

On my GSX750 they were originally 100/90-16 from factory,I didn't know that,as it had 120/80-16 on it when I bought it.The sport demon was shit loads better than the battleax I got off trademe, and shit loads better than crappy shit on it when I bought the bike. The worst thing with 16" is size availablity at a good cost and quality.

Go to www.carbibles.com click tyres/wheels link,it has a simple conversion to give rolling circumference of tyres and speedo accuracy, works for all vehicles.

Here's what I put onto my bike after some advise from some certain riders and had no worries. http://www.cycletreads.co.nz/product...ring_bt45.aspx

I got them on a special from Freedom Suzuki for about $400 fitted. You shouldn't have any worries. I've done about 10-11000 km and they still look new.
