Arrow URGENT - Builder or Plumber for this job???

URGENT Replacing the shower in the bathroom

I have been let down by the guy that was going to redo my bathroom.

But what I need to have done urgently is replacing my shower only.

I have a Felton mix shower, and I want to replace it with a sliding shower and mixer.

The Felton Mix is up high.
I need a sliding shower in with the new mix down low.

I have copper pipes behind the wall.

I am also on Low Pressure.

Do I need to get in a builder or will a plumber be able to do the job.
How long will it take to do it?
My poor bathroom is in a bit of a state, so the redoing the whole bathroom will have to wait till later in the year. But I urgently need the shower done.

I need to have this job done before the 6th May as that is when I am having an operation, and when I come home from hospital I am not allowed to reach up high for well over 6 - 8 weeks.

Anzac weekend is out for any work to be done... but week days or week nights or next weekend it can be done.

Are any of you guys living in or near West Auckland that are qualified to do the job and are you available to help me out.
I am really good at running (well walking) up and down my driveway to turn the water on and off and handing up tools... I attempt most jobs around my home, but this time it is out of my league.

Can you either PM me or leave a message in here.

    Thanks.
    Crashe.

PS: I have yet to buy the sliding shower and mixer, as I am unsure which one to get... So advise on that too thanks.

You will definitely need a Plumber (possibly a builder too - plumber can advise when the job is sighted by him). Get Methven brand fittings. They are good quality & best value for your $.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
