Why in five years? The classroom's already like a league of nations anyway (much more so here than back in the UK). It's no bad thing for Kiwi kids to meet and learn with lots of kids from overseas.

Personally i couldn't give a flyer who lives where, what religion (there are NO PURE religions in my eyes and never have been) people are, colour, gender bias etc... That would depend entirely on what they're being taught.

The same things they'd be being taught if the overseas kids weren't there. I've a Y12 class with kids from Italy, Germany, China, Japan, the UK etc. etc. etc. The list goes on. Can't say that the kids are in a hurry to learn all about each other but I still see it as a positive.
