    Fazazz Motorist Shop in Christchurch

Went in today, a very nice museum like. Then later I spotted a John Britten poster, signature reading "Andrew Stroud" plus a message saying about "Nice racing with your F40..."

Curiosity overwhelmed me and I asked the gentleman on the desk, then he told me that one day they went out on a track (forgot what it was called) on his Ferrari F40 and Stroud on the Britten.

Such a good story. What a legendary. Check it out if you think I am lying... Saw his F40 about 3 years ago at the shop. Very decent.

The shop itself is very museum like. A bike there made in Czec (JAWA I think) priced at $2,995... Hmmmmm

You're definitely not lying mate... AFAIK Gavin Bain that owns the shop has an F40 amongst other cool toys.

It's on the one way street heading east just around the corner from Thunderbike etc.In the phone book I'm sure. From the street it looks just like many of the old shops along there and it's not until you get inside that you realise you have stumbled across Alladin's cave of treasures(if you have any petrol in your blood that is).

Litchfield street as you head from Colombo to Manchester on the right side, it a nice old stone building.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

Good old Fazazz. Haven't been there in years, I must call in again soon.

For those that want to find out what they're missing out on.

The bike there right now is very tempting... 350 two stroke made in Czech republic, tempting price... Anyone know it's reliability?

Went for a visit again today and there was a mint 1970ish Triumph Bonie with only 44 MILES on the clock!! (there was another Bonie for sale too)
Also there was a motorcycle (forgot the brand) which was made in 1904. That's right, it's over 100 years old.
Lastly there was a 1925 BSA 2¼ horsepower built in 1968.

Oh did I mention there was a Ferrari 512BB (Berlinetta Boxer 12 engine)? Price tag of $225,000 which is not exactly cheap but super rare (929 vehicles built world wide).

    Worth a visit.
